At this point in my life, I like who and where I am. Who I am is Barbara Rodgers Christopher. Where I am is Eisenhower High School. I have taught at Ike for 30 years, first as an Algebra teacher, then as a Computer Science teacher and now finally as a Web Mastering teacher. I love the students and the faculty here at Ike. For me it's Go Big Ike all the way!

I met my husband, Jay Christopher, in a music appreciation class at UT El Paso (where I got my bachelors degree in Education.) We married in 1971 and still like and love each other 38 years later. My step-daughter, Jeanette, is currently living in San Francisco, but plans to move to Houston and become a nurse. My husband and I are so excited about this!

My hobbies are cooking and reading. I'm a hopeless fan of the food channel and on weekends I try out recipes on my hungry husband. Very often on a Saturday night you will find us munching on my latest creation, playing cards and watching StarTrek from the 60's or some other old school series like Frazier. Life is good for me right now, and I thank God for His many blessings.
