The
tournament in Beaverton,
Oregon was wonderful!
Nike sponsored the entire
trip, which included
the flight, hotel, and
plenty of good food.
The trip was a great
experience for the
team as they played
seven of the top
teams in the nation
including Mater Dei
which has the number
one rated quarterback
in the nation.
The offense put up plenty of points
in all but one game and showed
that they could compete on this
level. The defense played well
and came very much alive during
the Mater Dei game to limit the
opposing team to only seven points
at the half. Eisenhower lost by
2 points to the Plant Panthers
who won the event.
Greg Timmons, WR, made the all-tournament
team while Devin Miller, RB, won
the SPARQ fastest 40. Congratulations
to the entire 7-on-7 team for a
job well done!
Special thanks
