  • 1995 - Adrienne Andress
    Adrienne graduated from The University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center Dental School in 2003. She resides in Houston and practices dentistry at a community health center in Stafford, Texas (southwest Houston area.) (updated 01/05)

  • 1995 - Hector Chavana
    In 2000 Hector graduated from the University of Houston as a cum laude graduate and as a graduate of the honors college. He was accepted and enrolled in
    U of H’s MBA program, but decided to create his own business. He is now a mortgage broker and proprietor of New Day Lending (newdaylending.com), specializing in home equity and residential purchases. He is also a part-time real estate investor. Additionally, Hector has formed an organization called La Raza Justice Movement to help defend the rights of Chicano/Mexicano people (larazajusticemovement.org). Before graduating he married Claudia Guerrero, another Ike grad. They have one daughter named Citlali, which in the Mexican language means “of the heavens.” (updated 10/05)

  • 1995 - Dalana Cardenas Harwood
    Dalana is married, has three beautiful daughters and is living in Athens, Texas. She is working at the Henderson County Sheriff's Department as a 911 Dispatcher and is in the Navy Reserves. Dalana is also attending school to become a nurse. (updated 03/05)

  • 1995 - Flor Heras-Lomax
    Flor graduated in 2001 from U of H - Central Campus. She has been married for two years, no children yet. Flor currently works for the Department of Justice. She loves reading books and being outdoors.(updated 05/05)

  • 1995 - Matt Lacey
    Matt graduated from the University of Kansas in 1999 with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. That summer he was in the NASA Academy at Ames. After that he got his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford in 2001. Matt now lives in Cape Canaveral, Florida where he is a Presidential Management Intern and Liquid Propulsion Engineer working on NASA's new expendable rockets at the Kennedy Space Center.   • 1995 - Brenda Ortiz Moctezuma
    Brenda attended North Harris Community College and proceeded to graduate from the University of Houston Dowtown with a BBA with a major in Administrative Mgt. She has been working for a benefits and trust company for 8 years as a Trust Administrator. Brenda is also a member of a local salsa dance company, Salsa Azteca Dance Company. They perform at many local events and clubs. She married Robert Moctezuma on February 21st, 2004. They live in North Houston and don't have any children right now, but hope to have one soon!

  • 1995 - Christopher Ruggerio
    Chris is in his second year as a high school assistant principal in Klein ISD. He taught 3 years of Adaptive Behavior in KISD before moving into administration. He completed his Masters in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State in Dec 07 and holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Houston. Chris continues to remain active in the community and is a certified rape crisis counselor in the State of Texas. (updated 02/08)

  • 1995 - Alexandra Saldaña
    Alexandra received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001 from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas in Bilingual Education. During her time at OLLU she was involved in several activities especially becoming one of the six founders to a Latina sorority-Alpha Rho Lambda Sorority, Inc./Alianza de Raices Latinas. They established the Epsilon Chapter.

    She currently works for Northside Independent School District as a bilingual teacher in San Antonio. She has taught over the years Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade. In May of 2007 she received her Master's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Curriculum Instruction with an emphasis in Early Childhood.

    Alexandra recently became engaged to Patrick Nicholas Villarreal and are expected to marry in 2009.

    Jennifer has been working full time at Neiman Marcus for about 6 years and loves her job. At the same time, she has attended classes at the University of Houston, Downtown, and is very close to finishing her Bachelors in Accounting. (updated 03/04)

  • 1995 - Allyssa D. Wheaton-Rodriguez
    Allyssa graduated from the University of Houston in 1998 with a BA in Political Science (with honors). She then received her JD from the University of Houston Law Center in 2001. Allyssa began working for the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development in Fort Worth, Texas as a Legal Honors Intern in 2002. She has since been converted to Attorney Advisor with HUD. In March of 2000, she married Arturo (Arty) Rodriguez, also an Eisenhower alumnus. In September 2007, she and Arty had a baby boy, Bennett Avery Wheaton Rodriguez. (updated 01/08)

  • 1995 - Arturo (Arty) Wheaton-Rodriguez
    Arturo graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in Political Science in 1999. He received his Masters in City & Regional Planning from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2005. He now works as a planner for the City of Fort Worth. In March 2000, he married Allyssa Wheaton and in 2007, they had a baby boy, Bennett Avery Wheaton Rodriguez. (updated 01/08)

  • 1995 - Michael White
    Michael ttended Stephen F .Austin State after graduation. In 1998 he graduated from the Defense Mapping School in Alexandria Virginia. Michael joined the US Army as a Geospatial Analyst and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom for 14 months. He now resides with his wife and daughter in Honolulu, Hawaii.

  • 1995 - Danielle Witchet
    Danielle received her B.A. in English from Texas A&M. She taught language arts for two years at Shotwell M.S. and is now finishing her third year at Cook M.S. in Cy-Fair. She has an M.Ed in educational administration and is pursuing an M.Ed in counseling, both at Prairie View A&M. Danielle is single with no kids and still lives in Houston. She recently volunteered in Mexico for two weeks teaching English. (updated 02/05)

  • 1996 - Erica Grimes Alley
    Erica married her high school sweetheart, Joshua Alley, on October 2, 1999. They have a little boy, Hunter Franklin, three years old, and now live in Dayton, Texas. She is an Educational Assistant for Kindergarten and 1st grade Special Education students at Stephen F. Austin Elementary in Dayton ISD. Erica says she loves what she does, but nothing beats being a mommy.

  • 1996 - Clarence Batts
    Clarence Batts graduated from Trinity International University, Deerfield, Illinois in the Spring of 2001 with a B.A. in English Literature. After working for several nonprofit organizations and church oriented ministries from 1996 to 2001 in Nebraska, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin; Clarence moved to California to work as a counselor for a drug and alcohol program for teens. He currently works as a Life Coach and Support Counselor for foster youth at Future Families, a social service agency in San Jose, California. He also volunteers at Advent Group Ministries.   • 1996 - Charles Bryant
    Charles is the Quality Assurance Coordinator at the American Bureau of Shipping. He has been working in the Information Technology field for the last 8 years. Charles is married with a son, and resides in Spring, TX. He has an Associate's Degree, holds several IT-related certifications, and is attending the University of Phoenix to finish a BS in Business and Information Systems.   • 1996 - Cameo Bua
    For the past 3 years Cameo has been the Gulf of Mexico Regional Administrative Assistant for a major oil field company. She is currently taking classes at night with the intention of completing a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering. However, that may change as she has 3 years left and is weighing other options. Hobbies include drag racing and auto crossing her Cobra, horseback riding, camping, and mainly spending time with family and friends. She has never been married nor does she have any children at this time. Cameo does, however, cherish the two pit bulls that she rescued, and a cat that she has had since high school.

    Ja'Net attended Prairie View A&M from 1996 to 2001 and graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering. She currently works for the Greensheet as an Outside Account Representative. Ja'Net is not married and has no children. (updated 08/06)

  • 1996 - Rodney Covington
    After high school Rodney attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he was a member of the men's track team as well as the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. After college he moved to Dallas and resided there for two years. Rodney is now living in Houston and is a transportation manger at a local distribution center. He is married and has a 20 month old daugher name Shanynn.

  • 1996 - Dianne Cupps
    Dianne graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Graphic Design. She works for a design firm in Montrose where she also lives and plays. Dianne started doing Stand Up Comedy in 2003 and can be seen performing at the Laff Stop, Rudyards and various other clubs. She still enjoys flying sideways and thinking upside down. Some things never change.

  • 1996 - Khalilah Davis
    Khalilah went on to Texas A&M University where she completed her Bachelor of Science in 2000. From there she attended the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch where she finished her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2004. Khalilah currently works for the Harris County Hospital District Dental Department and is engaged to be married in September of 2005.

  • 1996 - Jason Dimiceli
    Upon graduating from Eisenhower in 1996, Jason enrolled into The University of Texas at Austin to study mechanical engineering. He ended up transferring to the music school at UT and graduated in 2002 with a music education degree.Jason taught at Westfield HS, then San Marcos HS, and finally arrived at McNeil HS in Round Rock where he has been the Associate Director of Bands since the fall of 2004. During the summers of 1997-1999 he toured in The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle corps from Rosemont, IL. While with The Cavaliers he performed in 41 states and in Canada.

    In July of 2001 Jason married his college sweetheart, Jennifer, and in July 2003 they had their daughter, Emily Grace. Jason's family currently lives in Round Rock, Texas. He spends his free time on the golf course, arranging music, reading books, or in the kitchen cooking. (updated 06/10)

  • 1996 - Lindsey A Doringo
    Lindsey graduated in 2001 with a degree in automotive technology. Later he graduated from the Volkwagon & Audi Academy in 2002. He is a computer electonics Audi specialist. He also minored in business finance and has about one year to go. Right now Lindsey is working for Advancial Federal Credit Union as a Loan Processor & Member service rep. He is also involved with several Japanese and Euro club organizations. Although he is not married and has no children right now, he would like to do both in a few years.

  • 1996 - Jeff Downing
    Jeff attended Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Science
    degree in political studies, with a minor in religious studies. Immediately after graduating
    from Texas A&M, Jeff moved to Washington, D. C. to work in the White House as an intern for the Clinton Administration. After returning to Houston, Jeff enrolled in South Texas College of Law and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May of 2005. After passing the bar, Jeff joined the District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor. Jeff later opened his own successful firm, The Downing Law Firm, focusing his practice on criminal defense, juvenile, family law, and general litigation. Jeff resides in Oak Forest. In August, Jeff will be married to Taneka Johnson, an attorney. He is currently running for Houston City Council, District A

  • 1996 - Tara Rankin Helmer
    After graduating from Ike, Tara went to North Harris to work on a nursing degree. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant and only needs to take a few more classes to become a registered nurse. She is currently working fulltime at Southwestern Bell as a Revenue Management Representative (collections rep,) waiting until she has the time to go back and finish her nursing degree. Tara was married on 03-04-2001 to Joseph (Kyle) Helmer. She does not have kids yet, but hopes for them in the near future. (updated 11/03)

  • 1996 - Scott Hynes
    Scott is living in Katy, Texas where he has been happily married since March of 2006. He is looking to start a family soon. After obtaining his Associate of Arts degree in 2005, he attended the University of Houston-Downtown and received his BS in Interdisciplinary Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 4.0 in May, 2008. Scott is currently a Junior Purchasing Agent for an international shipping company in Houston, but will be looking to move to the Austin area later this year.

  • 1996 - Jeralan J. Kannady
    Jeralan spent one year at Concordia College in Seward, NE on a football, track, and academic scholarship. He transferred to Sam Houston State in 1997 where he recieved a BS degree in 2002. Jeralan was in the MS program until personal issues forced him to leave in November of 2004. Currently he is working for Fitness Connection in Greenspoint Mall, where he is the Operations Manager. Jeralan was married but is now divorced, no children. For fun he reads, works out and enjoys the Downtown nightlife. (updated 04/05)

  • 1996 - Rosslyn Kelley
    Rosslyn is still living in Houston, working for JPMorgan Chase. Since her employment began in 1998, she has held several positions with the company and is currently working in the Commercial Loans department (compliance area.) In September, 2006 she will graduate from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology. Rosslyn is not married nor does she have any children.

  • 1996 - Sabrina Kennedy-Andy
    Sabrina is married and has a seven year old son named Michael Christopher Andy who is the best thing that has ever happened in her life. At this time they are planning to have more kids. She attends Lakewood Church and is an active member. After graduating from Eisenhower, she attended Prarie View University for two and a half years, studying education. After that she attended the Champion School of Real Estate. Sabrina would now like to start a business of her own, an assisted living home where she can help elderly people.   • 1996 - Deepa Kulkarni-Ozarkar
    Deepa graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from UT Austin in 2001 and earned teaching certification through the UTeach program. After that she moved to Plano, TX, where she taught 10th grade math at Jasper High School for four years. Deepa is now working on a masters in counseling at the University of Texas at Austin (again)and loving it! She and her husband live in northwest Austin. See their picture (updated 04/06)

  • 1996 - Anika LeBlanc
    Anika graduated from SHSU in Huntsville with a BA in Criminal Justice. She is currently substituting at her favorite place to be, Ike. She is in the process of becoming a certified teacher and entering graduate school. Anika is not yet married but has fallen deeply in love with her son, Dylan Dominik LeBlanc, who was born July 11, 2002. He is her motivation, her spirit and her joy. Anika says she can't wait to see everyone at the reunion.

  • 1996 - Jasmine Lee
    Jasmine graduated in 2000 with a BA in Radio and TV from Sam Houston State University. She then obtained her Masters in Multidisciplinary Studies from Stephan F. Austin University in 2004. She is currently a professor at North Harris College and an activity coordinator at a prestigious apartment complex. She doesn't have any kids nor a husband, but is living a fulfilled life.

    At Ike, Kristy was the yearbook and newspaper editor for a couple of years and was in the band for three years. She graduated from Texas A&M University in May '01 with a BS in Journalism. Currently, Kristy is working for a glass fabricator/manufacturer in Houston as a print/publication designer in sales and marketing. She is also the plant's safety coordinator. (updated 09/02)

  • 1996 - Jeanette Ingham Love
    Jeanette went to Texas A&M University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts in 2000. She got married in 2003 and has 2 beautiful baby boys - Austin is 2 and Kyle is 6 months. Jeanette is working for a selling partner of DHL called Worldwide Express as a Key Account Executive and loves it! She is looking forward to seeing some old friends at the ’96 reunion!

    Brian is a journeyman electrician here in Houston. He also has his own home inspection business. Brian was married in 1999 and has a 3 1/2 yearold, and a 3 month old baby. His wife is a school teacher in Spring Branch ISD and loves it. (updated 11/06)

  • 1996 - Enolia "Nicky" Melonson
    Enolia, known as Nicky, is employed at the Harris County Sheriff's Department. She has a 6 year old daughter, Kortni Shynelle. Nicky has been living a happy, peaceful life since graduating from Ike. She aspires to be a Deputy with Harris County in the near future and is excited about the reunion in 1996. (updated 03/05)

    After spending four years in the Marine Corps, William is now working in Austin. He is also finishing his last two years at UT where he is majoring in Electronic Engineering and Design. (updated 03/01)

  • 1996 - Christopher Ochoa
    Chris went to North Harris CC for 1 year before leaving school due to his father being ill. He took a part-time job so he could stay at home to take care of his dad. His father eventually could not fight any longer and passed away. Christopher soon found himself with a daughter, a part-time job and no way to pay all the bills. He went homeless, then he and his daughter, Jordyn, bounced from house to house while he looked for a job. Eventually, Christopher met a man who had some issues going on in his life. He was older than Christopher, but he listened to him. He eventually put in his 2 week notice at his job and told his boss that he knew of a guy who was a good person and a hard worker. That same boss called Christopher for an interview and he started the next day. Starting out as a simple order puller making $7.00/hr, he was promoted 3 times and is now the warehouse manager of All Pro Fasteners in NW Houston. His daughter is now 6 years old and attends Frazier Elementary in the Cypress-Fairbanks School District. (updated 04/07)

  • 1996 - Robin Porter-Meachum
    Robin graduated from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies in June of 2003 with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is currently employed at the law firm of Haynes and Boone LLP in the Litigation Department. Haynes and Boone was rated one of the top 25 law firms to work for in the United States. Robin married Devon Meachum in June, 2006. She has one son, Jayce, and a baby on the way.

  • 1996 - Michael Richards
    Michael attended GMI:Engineering and Managment Institute (now called Kettering University) in Flint Michigan. During his time there he co-oped with General Motors at their Orion Assembly Center. Michael graduated in 2000 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in automotive engineering. He still works for GM at Orion and currently is the departmental planner for General Assembly Maintenance. Residing in Michigan in the Metro Detroit, he is married (3 years in June 05) and has a 4-month old child, Luke Nicholaus. Michael is attending Oakland University for a Masters in Business and Administration and should complete that in April of 2006. (updated 05/05)

  • 1996 - Charity "Nicole" Semien
    Charity is attending U of H, Downtown where she is getting her BA in Early Childhood Education. She should graduate in May, 2007. She completed her Associate's degree at NHC in 2005. Charity has 2 children (boys) and is currently working near Hwy. 290 at Banta Global as a quality inspector in receiving. She purchased her first home in Cypress, Texas last August and is engaged to be married this May. (updated 02/06)

  • 1996 - Micah J. Smith
    Micah graduated from Wiley College, a private institution in east Texas, with a B. S. in Accounting. He worked for Enterprise Rent a Car for about two years as an Area Accountant, and is now employed with ACS in Dallas, Texas. Micah has a fiancé, Sherida Smith of Grand Prairie, Texas; and is scheduled to be married in April of next year.

  • 1996 - Tory Taylor
    Tory is married with two beautiful kids, ages 3 and 5. He works at the Reynolds Company as an electrical supplier. Tory attends the Lake Houston Church of Christ and says that life is great when you keep God in your life. He and his family and will be residing in the Woodlands in a couple of weeks as they move into a new home. His cell number is 832-640-7714 and he would enjoy talking to classmates.

  • 1996 - Crystal Whitt Tomlinson
    Crystal is living in San Antonio and recently got married in June, 2004. She worked for HEB Grocery Company for six years, but decided to leave the company so she and her husband could start their own photography business. Life is great! She owns a beautiful home and has an awesome new husband and 3 terrific stepchildren. As of now, Crystal and her husband are not planning to have children for a long time. Instead they will focus their attention on getting the business off the ground and on traveling as much as possible.

    LaShonda married her high school sweetheart, also a classmate graduate of 96', Michael Townsend. They have two boys Kadarius (8) & Kameron (3). They are living their life to the fullest and can't wait to see everyone at the class reunion.

  • 1996 - Albert J. Vara
    After graduation Albert attended the University of St. Thomas, receiving a BA in Communications in 2000. A movie that he wrote and produced opened at the Angelika Theatre in September, 2004. The movie, I Know You Love Me: The Who Is Shannon Douglas Story, won the 2004 Houston Multicultural Independent Film Festival's People's Choice Award.

  • 1996 - Debbi Vatzlavick
    Debbi got a great new job working for AIMCO Properties at their Contact Center in Denver. She is a Team Lead within the Contact Center and communicates with hundreds of properties every day. She is also a full-time student, working for a Business Degree and taking an average of 15 hours a semester to get it. Somehow, she still manages time with her 5-year-old. Debbi wants to continue to live in Colorado, but is looking forward to seeing all the old faces next August for the reunion!

  • 1996 - Ayanna Walker-Williams
    Ayanna graduated from the University of Houston with a BS in Criminal Justice and certification to teach Early Childhood throught 4th grade as well as all-grades Health. Later she received her Masters in Psychology Mental Health Counseling. She became a teacher, married in 2004 (no children yet) and purchased a home in Houston. (updated 05/06)

  • 1996 - Rolundra White-Rodgers
    Rolundra went to the University of Houston for two years before transfering to the University of Phoenix where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. She is currently attending Letourneau University, working towards her MBA. Rolundra is employed by Waste Management in the accounting department where she has worked for 6 1/2 years performing account billing management for all of the Houston Metro commercial services. Married for almost two years, she does not have any children yet. She and her husband enjoy dancing and riding their horses. Her God and her family remain the most important things in her life.   • 1997 - Langston Adair
    Langston graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a B.A. in architecture. He is now working on his Masters at the University of Houston (Sports Admistration.) He taught 5th grade science at Aldine's Caraway Intermediate for 3 years, but is now living in Oakland, CA and working for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. In July of 2005 he married Amanda Branch who also graduated from PVAMU. (updated 09/06)

  • 1997 - Maritza Bautista
    Maritza obtained her BA in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. From 2004 to 2007 she worked as the gallery coordinator for The Laredo Center for the Arts, a non-profit community-based arts organization.

    Other arts organizations she contributes to include Hecho en Encinal, a small grassroots organization in the rural community of Encinal, Texas and the AKA Collective, a group of artists and arts educators who work together to develop the exhibition and performance programming at Sound Alternative Space for Contemporary Art, in Laredo, Texas.

    She has recently been accepted into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she will pursue a master of arts in Art Education. Maritza's work includes printmaking, sculpting, and working on experimental short films and music. She has a natural tendency to promote art, creativeness, happiness and peace! Her gratitude goes to Mrs. Breedveld and Mr. Venable for all their encouragement. (updated 05/07)

    Samantha graduated from Texas A&M University December 2002, with a BS in Kinesiology and a specialization in Sport Management. She is currently the Assistant Athletic Director and Program Coordinator for the Houston City Club. Samantha is also a personal trainer and massage therapist at her club.   • 1997 - Joseph J. Ceasar
    Joseph graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in June of 2001 with a B.S. in American Politics and a minor in Environmental Engineering. Upon graduation he was commissioned into the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Defense Artillery. After marring his wife, Joy, in February of 2002, he served in Iraq from Feb '03 until May '03 where he traveled from Kuwait to Baghdad. Joseph was awarded the Bronze Star and was honorably discharged in December of 2003 as a First Lieutenant. Now that he is out of the military, he has moved back to the Houston area and is living in Cypress, Texas. Since March of 2006 he has worked as a construction manager for Lennar Family of Builders.     Tam attended Ike from 1993-1995. She moved to Arizona in 1995 and graduated from Alhambra High School in 1997. Tam graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Arizona State University and is currently attending medical school at Midwestern University in Arizona. She will be finishing her second year in medical school and taking her first Boards exam this summer.

  • 1997 - Montray Cruel
    Montray received a dance scholarship to Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and attended NSU from 97- 99. She majored in Accounting and minored in Dance. When she tore her ACL ligament in her left knee at the beginning of her junior year in dancing practice, she came back home to have knee surgery. There she met her soul mate in church. They have a five year old little boy and are planning to get married within a year. Montray is Front Desk Administrator for Data Projection, Inc.     Detra has one daughter, Lauryn, born October 23, 2003. She had moved to New Orleans, but is now back in Houston. She has been in the legal field for seven years and is working as a legal assistant in the real estate department of Epstein, Becker, Green, Wickliff & Hall, P.C.   • 1997 - Lowell A. Doringo
    Lowell graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with his Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies in 2002. He completed two internships with the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida (one as a skipper on the Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom). After completing the second internship,Lowell became a Guest Relations host with the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. He also was a training facilitator for Magic Kingdom Human Resources, the Disney Institute, and the Disney University. Currently, Lowell is living in Orlando, Florida, still working as a Cast Member for the Walt Disney World Resort. He is still with Magic Kingdom Guest Relations and working for Disney's VIP Tour Services. He has been the tour guide for guests ranging from Mariah Carey, Jamie King (Choreographer for Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez), Rasheed Wallace (Basketball player for the Detroit Pistons), Jim Hasslet (Coach of the New Orleans Saints), Jacob Young of "All My Children", Mark Shapiro (Vice President of ESPN), to name a few.   • 1997 - Eric Edwards
    The summer after he graduated, Eric began a 9 year stint in the United States Navy. In the Navy he traveled to England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Amsterdam, Singapore, Sydney, and many other ports. While stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, he met his beautiful wife, Linda Edwards. He has been married for 3 years and they have a 2 year old son named Elijah Edwards. Currently Eric serves as an Intelligence Analyst for the office of the secretary of Defense.   • 1997 - Sonya Marie Martinez Guzman
    Sonya graduated in May 2003 from St. Mary's University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in English where she was also a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. On November 22, 2003, she married her prince charming, Jeffery Guzman, a 1998 graduate of Jersey Village High School and graduate of St. Mary's University. It was love at first sight since March 1998 and ever since then she falls in love more and more each day. Sonya is currently teaching fourth grade in Spring Branch ISD and Jeffery teaches AP Economics in Alief ISD. They do not have children, but have three beautiful cats, two turtles and an adorable dog.     Jehiel went to the United States Naval Academy where he graduated with a B.S in Computer Science and General Science in May of 2002. He was commissioned ENSIGN United States Navy on the same day. Currently he is coaching basketball at the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport R.I.     Wendy graduated from Yale University in New Haven, CT in 2001 with a B.A. in History. She then graduated from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government in June 2003 with a Master's in Public Policy. For the past two years, Wendy has been in Houston working as a legislative aide for State Senator Rodney Ellis (D-13.) She has furthered her interest in politics and is committed to bettering the city of Houston and the state of Texas. This fall she will enter the University of Texas School of Law in Austin.     Brett graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. Following his undergraduate studies, he taught junior high band and private low brass at Creekside Intermediate School in the Clear Creek Independent School District. He served as a teaching assistant at Texas A&M University-Commerce (formerly East Texas State University) and recently completed a Master of Music degree in Wind Conducting. As of May 2005. Brett has been appointed the Associate Director of Bands at Downing Middle School in the Lewisville Independent School District. The Downing MS Symphonic band will be performing at the prestigious Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic in December 2005. Brett plans to reside in Flower Mound, Texas.

    Jimmie graduated from Texas Lutheran University in May of 2002 with a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.B.A. in Accounting. He also minored in History. Jimmie is now working for Schlumberger Oilfield Services in Sugar Land as a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. He is happy to have completed and passed the first part of the CPA examine in November of 2005, and is being considered for the job of controller of Schlumberger's Gulf Coast Region. He resides in the Westchase area of Houston with his beautiful fiance, Chinelle Monique Johnnie (also an Eisenhower alumni from the class of 1999.) They are getting married on April 7, 2007.     Brian joined the U.S. Army immediately after graduation where he was assigned to the Infantry as a medic stationed in Hawaii for 5 1/2 years. He married Danielle Caldwell, a fellow U.S. Army soldier in May, 2000. They now have 2 children, a boy and a girl. They moved to Fort Worth in 2002 and joined the Texas National Guard. Brian worked as an ER tech in local hospitals and attended Tarrant County College. He is currently on a second tour in Iraq where he is working as a paramedic and teaching for the Department of Defense.

    Christi graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a BS in both Computer Science and Mathematics in May 2002. While at SFA, she was in the band with Brett Richardson (1997) and David Hill (1998.) Christi is now working at The Hanover Company here in Houston. Actually, it is just right up the road from Ike on N. Houston Rosslyn. She married a fellow Ike alumnus, Matt Thomson (1998,) in July of 2002, and they just had their first baby, Kaci Lynn, on August 9, 2004. They live in The Woodlands now and love to go bike riding.     Jaison attended Texas Southern University and majored in Music Education. Currently he is at work in Houston I.S.D. as a Special Education BAC teacher.   • 1998 - Shahab Dean Aslinia
    Shahab attended Tomball College where he obtained his Associates of Science in General Sciences and Mathematics. After that he attended the University of Houston where in 2004 he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a multidisciplinary minor in Biology, Communication, Nutrition and Political Science. He completed his Master's of Psychology in 2006 with high honors. Currently Shahab is working on his doctrate in psychology while teaching university courses and conducting research.     Chris and Mandy Campbell still live in Waco, Texas. Chris got a BA in Math and a minor in Chemistry from Schreiner University. He then attained a M.S. in Education from Baylor University. Now he is in the dissertation phase of his PhD in Educational Psychology at Baylor. He teaches math at Waco High School and goes to class at night. He and Mandy just had a beautiful baby girl named Ruth Abigail on August 24th. They will stay in Waco until both of them finish their degrees and then move on.

  • 1998 - Elicia Morris Hill
    Elicia attended the University of Houston where she continued her love for dance as a part of the Cougar Doll Dance Team and met her future husband, Matthew Hill, through a mutual friend. Since her true desire was to pursue a career as a nurse and U of H did not have a nursing program, she began courses at Houston Community College in 1999 and was accepted into the Associate Degree Nursing program in 2000. Elicia graduated from HCC with an Associate's and passed the NCLEX exam in June 2002. She worked in the Family Birthing Center doing Labor and Delivery and Post Partum at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital (the same hospital she and her siblings were born at) for a total of about 4 years.

    Elicia's father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2004, but they were very blessed to have a year and a half with him since once that type of cancer is diagnosed, the life expectancy is anywhere from 3-6 months. He proudly walked his last daughter to be married off down the aisle on October 15, 2005. He then went to be with the Lord on Mother's Day, May 14, 2006.

    Elicia absolutely LOVES being married to Matthew. He is her rock. They currently do not have any children, but love their pets! They hope to one day have children, but lately we have been wedding party experts! She also wants to pursue her nursing education further. Elicia would like to thank Eisenhower for wonderful opportunities. She experienced a wonderful education as well as a diversified extracurricular life from drill team to FFA to HOSA. (updated 02/08)

  • 1998 - DeMarcus Hunter
    DeMarcus Hunter attended the Northwestern University in Evanston, IL where he graduated with a B.S. of Chemical Engineering. After graduation in June 2002, DeMarcus went to work as a Commercialization Specialist (R&D Project Manager) at SC Johnson & Son in Racine, WI working on Ziploc and Pledge Brands. From there, he landed an opportunity back in the Chicago area (Chicago Heights) working as a Production Engineer for France-based chemical company Rhodia (formerly Rhone-Poulenc).

    He has recently moved to St Louis, MO working for Covidien (formerly Tyco Healthcare) as a Manufacturing Process Engineer in the Special Products Division. DeMarcus enjoys travel with recent trips including Edinburgh, Scotland; Barcelona, Spain; Zurich, Switzerland and Berlin, Germany. He is unmarried and no kids. His fondest memories of Eisenhower were HOSA Competitions and attempting to join every club available at school. (updated 04/08)

    Shaletha graduated from Texas Southern University in 2003. In 2006 she married her high school sweetheart, Craig Joe Jr. who is a class of '97 Eisenhower alumni. They had a daughter together (Princess Amiera) and there are also 2 sons from his previous marriage. They still reside in Houston. In April of 2007 she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master's in Health Care Administration.

    Shaletha is currently employed as a manager with the Memorial Health Care System. She enjoys her career as well as life as a wife and mother. She would like to thank all of the faculty of Eisenhower for the encouragement and the great education she received which has allowed her to be the successful individual that she is today.     After high school Benito joined the U.S. Navy were he was stationed in Mayport, Florida for 4 years. In 2002, he returned home to work for the Department of Homeland Security (TSA). Later he left the TSA to join the Harris County Sheriff's Office were he was employed as a Detention Officer. Eight months later Benito went to the Harris County Sheriff's Academy and graduated October 12, 2005 as a Deputy Sheriff.   • 1998 - Broderick Leaks (formerly McCou)
    Brock graduated from Baylor University in December 2002 with a B.A. degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. He received a Master of Arts in Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA and is currently a student in Fuller's Clinical Psychology PhD program. Brock expects to earn his doctorate in June of 2009, and will also receive a Master of Arts in Theology. He was married to his Baylor sweetheart, Cynthia, on December 13, 2003. Currently he is conducting research on "Cultural Factors in Cancer Screening" looking at religiousness, health attitudes, and behaviors as it affects Prostate and Colorectal Cancer screening for African American men.

    Erron graduated from Baylor University in August of 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Social Studies Composite Certification. In August of 2005 he will graduate from Lamar University with a Master's Degree in Education Administration. He is teaching 11th and 12th grade AP Social Studies classes at Phillis Wheatley High School in HISD where in May of 2007, he was named Wheatley Teacher of the Year.     Currently in Columbia, Pilar attended Eisenhower for her freshman year only. It was a short stay, but a very important one for her. She knew no English when she entered, but there were many teachers who were very patient with her, smiling all the time, real examples of people who love what they do. Pilar has waited for a very long time to have the chance to say, "THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Eisenhower. You gave me the chance of growing in a language I did not know anything about til I got there."

    Pilar has an 8 year old girl now, and she is very proud to teach her English. She is working for a company in the United States which sells products here in Colombia where she works on simultaneous and written translation. People often ask her where did she learn to speak English so well, and she always tells them about her experience at Eisenhower. (updated 07/06)

    Kimberly has been working for Memorial Hermann Emergency Center at Memorial City as an ERCNA for 3 years. She is getting ready to graduate in December, 2004 with her LVN licenses for nursing. She will continue to work in the ER while she is finishing her RN, possibly BSN, for ER nursing. Eventually Kimberly wants to work as a pediatric ICU or transport nurse for Hermann. She loves her job. Her son will be turning 5 in October. It is still just she and him, but they keep busy with t-ball and Tae Kwon Do. He started pre-school this year, and Kimberly is so proud of who he is becoming.     Shawna is currently living in Houston and working in accounting for a very large group of psychologists. Her daughter, Morgan, is now 9 and in the 4th grade. She is getting bigger and smarter and sneakier every minute! Shawna is still not married and in no hurry to do so.

    Archie Thompson graduated from Prairie View A&M University in 2004 with a B.S. Degree in Architecture / Engineering and a minor in Music. He worked as a Senior Plan Analyst in the Public works & Engineering dept for the city of Houston for 2 years. After that he moved to New York to pursue his music career. He has worked and shared the stage with artists such as Music soul-child, Lyfe Jennings, Usher, John Legend, Wyclef, Freeway, Mystikal, Destiny Child, Htown, Silk, KC & JOJO, and Jahiem -- just to name a few. He is the lead singer of an R&B group and he is recording an album at the present. He has relocated to Atlanta, GA where he is working as a music composer, song-writer, arranger, & singer.   • 1998 - Misty Blackford Tucker
    Misty was a 1998 graduate, but transferred to a school in Ohio in her junior year.She just graduated in May of 2006 from Edison State Community college in Ohio with an Associates of Applied Sciences concentrated in Early Childhood Education. She is now a preschool teacher and associate director of a daycare. Misty has been happily married for 5 years with plans to have children soon.   • 1998 - Lakeisha Carter Vallier
    Lakeisha would have graduated from Ike in 1998, but in 1997 she transferred to another school. She is the step-daughter of Coach Kenneth Guiton, who is and has been a football and track coach at Ike. She has 2 children, one boy and one girl. Lakeisha is graduating from Prairie View College of Nursing in May of this year and is employed at the VA Hospital in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She is getting married in August 2007. Lakeisha still talks to her good friends, Darnesha Davis, Alexis Holbert-Hayes, Deatra Brandon-Bennett, and Shante' Knox, who are graduates of the class of 1998.

    Sarah lives in Houston and is processing payroll for a Houston based oil company. She met her husband while working at the same company as her brother, Josh Burns (class of 1997,) and married in April of 2003. In May of the following year they had their first child, Caitlyn.   • 1999 - Twyla Applin
    Twyla is attending school at the University of Houston - Downtown where she is majoring in Human Resource Management. She is getting married February 25, 2006 in Spring, Texas, to the love of her life, Michael Thompson aka "Cowboy" (also a 1999 Ike grad.) They will honeymoon in Jamaica. Twyla and Michael have a beautiful 18 month old daughter named A'Mya. She feels blessed to have such a beautiful family. They are hoping to buy their first home in the early part of 2006.

  • 1999 - Lakeva Downey Bernard
    After graduating from Ike, Lakeva received a diploma in Travel & Hospitality, and then went on to pursue an Associates Degree in Computer Networking Systems. She has been working as a Network Administrator and Technical Support Specialist for over 4 years. Lakeva has no plans to go back to school at the moment but wants instead to enjoy motherhood. She married February 26, 2005 to a long time friend (not an Ike graduate,) and they currently have a 10 month old son (Damare) who is the light of their lives.   • 1999 - Andrea DeAnn Cavazos-Varela
    Andrea graduated with an AAS in Paralegal Studies from NHCCD. She then worked for one of the largest law firms in Houston specializing in family law, Short Jenkins Kamin, LLP, as a legal secretary. In July, 2005, she and her husband opened an auto/mechanic shop. Andrea works full time at the shop for now, but will be attending SHSU in the spring to get her bachelors. After that, she plans to enroll in law school. They also put together a record label, and now own a recording studio. They have signed an artist, and will be releasing her album in the beginning of the year.

    Andrea married in 2004 on St. Patrick's Day to Zandas Varela, who is also an Ike graduate. They are living in the Norchester subdivision in Houston. Both want children, and Andrea prays for twins, a little boy and a little girl. (updated 11/05)

  • 1999 - La' Trina Collins
    After graduation La' Trina attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana were she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice in May 2004. She plans to graduate again with a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling in May 2008. From there she will start working towards her license as a professional counselor (finishing in May 2010).

    Currently La' Trina is working at Baton Rouge Mental Health counseling children and adolescents with mental and behavioral health problems, and dealing with a lot of the psychological aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She is engaged to a wonderful New Orleans native (they have been together seven years) and they plan to marry in May 2009. La' Trina bought a beautiful condo and resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After marriage, she and her fiance plan to build a house together.

    She is a proud and very active member of the Baton Rouge Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She still keeps in close contact with her high school best friend (Lakeshia Wilson also c/o 99) who recently made her a proud auntie of a beautiful baby girl. La' Trina doesn't have any children. Her big brother (Ahmad Collins also Ike graduate c/o 98) is doing well. La' Trina is extremely blessed in the way her savior Jesus Christ has moved in her life and wishes everyone blessings, continued success, and love. (updated 12/07)

  • 1999 - Jason Colunga
    Jason graduated from the Universtiy of Houston with a B.A. in Media Production and Film Studies and is currently studying MIDI Programming and Electronic Music at HCC Town & Country. An interest in the various forms of media contributed to his participation in community radio where he hosted and produced "JayCee's Morning Mix," playing an eccletic and ethnic mix of rock, electronic, and hip-hop music from around the world. Such mixing led to collaborative efforts on 90.1 KPFT's "Music Beyond Borders," a weekday radio show featuring world music.

    Aside from his radio endeavors, Jason has released the short film entitled, "Apophenia," and is in current collaboration with UH Alumni on two other short films. He looks forward to a future in producing and scoring more short films with an emphasis in the art/experimental genre. (updated 08/06)

  • 1999 - Travis Conant
    Travis received his B.S. (University honors and honors in major) in Chemical Engineering (with a minor in Chemistry) from the University of Houston in 2004. He is currently working towards a PhD in chemical engineering at the University of New Mexico where his research is focused on fuel cells and catalysis. Travis has authored/co-authored a number of technical publications and given a number of presentations at technical conferences around the country.     Michelle was married in May of 2005 and is currently working for the city of Houston. She is also a co-owner of the Garden of Eden Landscaping Company. She and her husband do not have kids yet, but they are hoping for some soon. She plans to graduate with her RN in 2007. (updated 08/06)

    Chinelle graduated from North Harris Community College in 2002 with an Associates Degree in Human Resources and has been working for JP Morgan Chase Bank since 2002.     Jennalyn received her Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a Media Production Minor at the University of Houston in May, 2004. As Jennalyn was interning at a news stations during her last year of college, she decided not to pursue being a reporter. Jennalyn relocated to Los Angeles in August 2005 and is currently working for the University of Southern California Law School as the public communications coordinator in the public relations department.   • 1999 - Catherine Olmos
    Catherine received her associates degree from North Harris and plans to go back to school soon. She has her real estate license and will go into business with her sister-in -law who is a loan officer and appraiser. One of her favorite sayings is "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

    Catherine is currently planning for a wedding with her high school sweetheart, also an Ike 99' grad. They will take a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico to get married (along with their 75 guests.) When they come back, they will have a Houston reception in the Heights. After May, things will be calm and Catherine wants to focus all her attention on the non-profit recreational center she is trying to get funded and opened. (updated 1/08)

  • 1999 - Gabriel Ortiz
    In 2005 Gabriel graduated from the University of Houston with a B.B.A. in Management and business adminstration from the University of Houston. He also obtained a minor in Latin American Studies. He currently works for the executive offices of the largest cable industry in the nation but is planning on changing his carreer by the beginning of next year in order to dedicate more time to his loving wife and the “apple of his eye”, his 11 month old daughter. He is excited about embarking on a new adventure and his future has just began.   • 1999 - Josslynn N. Phelps-Harris
    Josslynn graduated from the University of Houston Police Academy in 2003 in which she received her TCLEOSE license as a certified Texas police officer. She is currently a police officer at the University of Houston - Central Campus Unit #423. Josslynn has a 4 year old daughter named Jadaye' and an 8 month old daughter, Jade. She was married in October of 2005 and now lives in Katy, Texas. She is working on her Intermediate/Master Peace Officer License. (updated 06/06)
  • 1999 - Brandi Ray-Montgomery
    Brandi graduated from SHSU in 2003 with a BS in Animal Science, minor Sec. Ed and Spanish. She taught Horticulture for 2 years at Stevenson Middle School in Houston, but now resides in Houma, LA where she teaches Earth Science. She recently married Marvin Montgomery (Ike c/o 98) in July ’06. No kids yet but they do have two wonderful dogd, Deuce and Chester Lee.     Brandi attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Spanish in August, 2003. She is currently teaching Horticulture at Stevenson Middle School in Houston and will be going back to school this summer for her Master's degree..   • 1999 - Julian Jeremy Rodriguez
    Julian is attending the University of Texas at San Antonio where he will graduate in December, 2004. He works for the State and Local Tax Group, a tax consulting firm, and plans to attend graduate school in the spring of 2005. He still has close relationships with Rey Reyes, Arthur Vega, and Ryan Thomson who is his college roommate and fraternity brother. At the University of Texas at San Antonio, Julian is the President of the Inter-fraternity Council, President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and serves on numerous committees. He is not married and would like to just further his education.

    Lauren graduated from SHSU with a BA in Photography. She was married to her best friend of 5 years, Terry Smith, on July 2, 2005 in Houston. He is in the U.S. Army and they are currently stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Her husband has been deployed to the Middle East several times since Jan, 2003, so Lauren is adjusting to being a new army wife.     Ryan currently attends the University of Texas in San Antonio. He is majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Fitness and Health.     Lakeshia graduated from North Harris College with an Associates of Arts degree, and is currently working to complete her bachelor's in English. She works full time as a supervisor for Old Navy, a division of Gap Inc., and has plans to be married in August of 2008. LaKeshia has no children and spends her free time hanging out with other Ike alumni from the class of 1999 and her fiance.
