  • 1980 - Randy Ballas
    Randy graduated from the University of Houston with a Marketing Degree in 1990. He resides in West Houston and works for Rohm and Haas Company. Randy is married to Janice with two sons, Sean (12)
    and Ryan (11). (updated 01/08)

  • 1980 - Daniel Flores
    Chief Warrant Officer 4 Daniel Flores is currently living in Conroe Texas. He is retiring this summer (2011) after 26 years in the U.S Army. Most of that time was in the Reserves flying the AH-64 Apache helicopter. He was activated in 2006 – 2007 for Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. He has written a memoir for his children (boy and girl). The memoir will be available summer of 2011. He was also featured in a story that was aired on the military channels “My War Diary” Apache Rescue; about a convoy he helped rescue in that war. He currently flies a jet and helicopter for the Department of Homeland Security out of David Wayne Hooks airport. (updated 06/11)

  • 1980 - Jorge Rittscher
    Jorge has one child and is divorced. He owns a hotel in Guatemala City and has various properties in that country of. Once a month he goes to Rio Dulce in his boat for one week as a pre-retirement plan. The hotel is doing fine and gives him time to travel. The boat at Rio Dulce gave Jorge an opportunity to meet sailors from all over the world. Right now he is riding a Harley Davidson ( Crossbones 2009.) There is a big group of Bikers in Guatemala where he gets to meet more people, have fun and publicize the hotel. Please contact him if visiting Guatemala.     Charlotte is a stay at home wife, mother, and "Nana". She has a wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters, and three amazing grandchildren! Her family lives in Magnolia, Texas, and she is truly blessed to have such a wonderful family! Charlotte and her hubby will be celebrating 25 years this year! (updated 01/09)

    Kellie passed away on January 7, 2008, the victim of a motorcycle accident. She is survived by her
    three children Christopher Christian (21),

  • 1982 - Deborah Dines
    Deborah lives in Amarillo, Texas and is raising three children. Two are in high school and one graduated last year. She is an athlete mom that attends every event as well as a senior administrative assistant / sales representative for Air Oasis. Plans are for her to be a website dealer soon. Deborah is also a portrait and landscape photographer during her free time.

    Michael is a single father raising his 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy) in Peoria, Arizona. He is a Global Security Coordinator for IBM, managing technical contracts between IBM and their financial banking clients for North America. (updated 01/06)

  • 1982 - 1st Sgt. Michael Mouton
    Michael and his two brothers,1st Sgt. Allen Mouton (c/o 84) and Sgt. Reginald Mouton, are deploying to Iraq in October. They are all members of the Army's 7th Calvary Ironhorse brigade. Michael’s company will be supporting missions by supplying ammunition, fuel and water for the battalion, while Allen’s company will be focused on creating traffic control points and conducting searches for the mission in Iraq. Reginald will be working at his battalion aid station taking care of casualties that are sent to the forward operating base. Though things may get a little busy while they are deployed, all three plan on spending as much time together as they can. (updated 09/06)

  • 1984 - Greg Higginbotham
    Greg now lives near Dallas in Wylie, Texas. He did all the AV stuff while at Ike, including DJ'ing the Prom. Now he DJs reunions for a living. Although he missed his own 10 year reunion because he was DJ'ing another reunion in Dallas, he is now set to DJ his own 20 year reunion. You can contact Greg at dance@direcpc.com(updated 09/02)

  • 1984 - Rodolfo Ruíz-Toledo
    Rodolfo recently became a member of the Human Relations Department for the City of Durham and is its newest Human Relations Specialist. He is currently going back to school to obtain a Master in Public Administration from Strayer University. He served 8 years in the US Marines (1984-1993) and served a tour in Iraq in 1991. Since then he has been a Spanish and English Teacher (after graduating from ECU in 1994) but left the profession in 2005. Rudolfo has been a GCDF (Global Career Development Facilitator) since then, managing a Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program for the city of Durham through their NC Joblink program. On a personal note, he has a 21 year old son who resides in Iowa with his mom.(updated 08/07)
